NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Tuesday marked the first day of WAVY’s three-day “Help from Hampton Roads” relief drive.
Photos taken Tuesday showed a lot of supplies already being donated and loaded up into a truck to send to those impact by Hurricane Helene. Now, especially with Hurricane Milton on track to hit Florida with another strong storm, it’s time to act.
WAVY is partnering with Mercy Chefs and Smiley’s Heating & Cooling to get supplies sent to those most in need. The drive runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
