VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — It’s been a couple years since Hampton Roads has had a Brazilian restaurant, but that’s about to change.

Texas De Brazil closed in Norfolk in April 2022 due to safety concerns and criminal activity. Now, a new Brazilian steakhouse chain is coming to Virginia Beach.

Fogo de Chão announced on Wednesday that they’ve signed a lease in Virginia Beach, making this their fourth location in Virginia.

The new restaurant, which is expected to open in 2025, will be 6,590 square feet and part of the Pembroke Mall center, a prime spot for folks visiting Town Center.
