HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Two adults, two children and two dogs are displaced after a house fire in Hampton on Sunday afternoon.

At approximately 1:15 p.m., Hampton fire crews responded to the 400 block of Gordon Court for a reported residential fire.

Upon arrival at around 1:20 p.m., they observed heavy fire and smoke from the rear of the structure.

The fire was marked under control at around 1:55 p.m.

All residents were accounted for and are being assisted by Red Cross.

The fire remains under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office.
