UPDATE: Herman Sydnor has been safely located, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach police are seeking the community’s help in the search for a missing, elderly man.

According to police, 82-year-old Herman Sydnor was last seen around 4:30 p.m. at Virginia Beach Health Care and Rehabilitation Center at 1801 Camelot Drive on Sunday.
Camera footage shows he may have been seen traveling northbound on First Colonial Road near North Great Neck Road at about 5 p.m.
Sydnor is deaf and communicates with sign language. He was due for medication at 6 p.m.
He is approximately 5-foot-7 and 152 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, khaki pants and a white baseball cap.
