Cyclist and fire truck collide at Nags Head intersection; investigation ongoing

NAGS HEAD, N.C. (WAVY) — A bicyclist was involved in a crash with a Town of Nags Head fire truck Saturday afternoon.

According to officials from the Town of Nags Head, a man riding a bike collided with a town fire truck around 4:30 p.m. at a signalized intersection near the 5300 block of South Croatan Highway.
