CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — The Chesapeake Police Department are investigating a shooting where one teenage boy was injured.
On Saturday evening, Chesapeake police officers responded to the 2500 block of Taylor Road in reference to a report that someone had been shot.
Officers made contact with the victim at a nearby residence, and he was transported to a local hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
The shooting is reported to have occurred in the 2400 block of Chesapeake Square Ring Road, according to police.
This shooting occurred just a little over an hour after another shooting injured a teenage boy in the area of Holley Cove Drive and Schooner Trail.
