NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Starting Friday night, maintenance work on the Tide Light Rail will impact traffic along Curlew Drive.
City officials said Curley Drive will be closed from 6 p.m. on Friday to 9 a.m. on Sunday. During the closure, traffic will be redirected to Sellger Drive from Kidd Boulevard.
The closure will be for planned maintenance on the Tide. On Saturday, the Tide will be closed between Norfolk State University and Newtown Road Station. Service between EVMC/Fort Norfolk Station and Harbor Park will not be impacted.
During the closure, shuttle buses will provide service at the NSU station, Ballentine/Broad Creek Station, Ingleside Road Station, Military Highway Station and Newtown Road Station.
