Get in the holiday spirit at the Hampton Holly Days Parade

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – 10 On Your Side is proud to be a part of this year’s Hampton Holly Days Parade.

Join WAVY News 10’s Kiahnna Patterson and Meteorologist Ricky Matthews Saturday, Dec. 7 in Downtown Hampton. The parade kicks off at 5 p.m.

Ring in the holiday season as illuminated floats, marching bands, community groups and organizations entertain and light up the streets of Hampton.

The parade goes through the streets of Downtown Hampton from City Hall to Darling Stadium.

According to the city, this is the longest-running illuminated holiday parade on the Peninsula.

This year’s theme is “Toys, Games & Candy Canes.”

Road Closures

There will be periodic road closures in the area beginning around 3 p.m. on Dec. 7 and lasting until approximately 9 p.m. Expect congestion and varying traffic patterns during hours leading up to and immediately after the parade, in the following locations:

Parking Restrictions

No parking will be allowed on Saturday, Dec. 7 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. for the following:

Anyone parked in these areas will be ticketed and towed at owner’s expense.
