NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The Chrysler Museum is getting ready for a fun-filled weekend starting on Thursday.
Starting on Thursday, renowned Dutch glass artist Peter Bremers, who created the large glass pink bunnies at the Glass Light Gallery & Hotel on Granby Street, will make an appearance for a free public conversation.

Thursday, Dec. 5
- In Conversation with Carolyn Needell and Peter Bremers — 2 p.m. – Virtual
– Registration required
– Look into ‘Ice to Water’ followed by live Q+A - Annual Chrysler Bake Off — 5-8 p.m.
– Free to attend
– Inspired by ‘Farm to Table: Art, Food, and Identity in the Age of Impressionism exhibit
– Sampling of baked goods from local bakeries
Friday, Dec. 6
- Community Panel on the Intersection of Climate and Art, Elizabeth River Project’s Ryan Resilience Lab — 7 p.m.
– Registration required
– Features Peter Bremers, local university scholars and students
Saturday, Dec. 7
- Dinner with Peter Bremers, Glass Light Gallery & Hotel — 6 p.m.
– $225 per person, registration required
– Offers opportunity to have a brief talk with Peter Bremers
In addition, on select Thursdays and Fridays from Nov. 29 through Dec. 29, guests will have the opportunity to create colorful blown glass ornaments at the Perry Glass Studio. Tickets for museum members are $60, and $75 for non-museum members.
