Pembroke Square owners, developers announce updates

Developers and owners of Pembroke Square have announced updates to the redevelopment of the former Pembroke Mall property in the Town Center area, saying they plan to break ground on a new 163-room hotel next month. A new restaurant is expected to open in the development next month. The Funny Bone comedy club is relocating to the development, and next door to it will be DraftCade, a brewery combined with an arcade, both of which are expected to open this fall. A 273-unit apartment building and parking garage is expected to break ground there in 2026.

HPD: Man’s death being investigated as homicide
