That has led to a a tasty tradition; the Friday Lent fish fry. Many churches and social organizations hold them, but they are traditionally associated with Catholic churches. Our Lady of Nazareth Roman Catholic Church will hold fish fries until Easter weekend. The food is cooked and served by local Knights of Columbus and Ancient Order of Hibernians chapters.
